Harmon Hill - Irises

We added around 30 more varieties of Iris in 2020. Our Iris bloom in 2020 was amazing and we have started to get visitors to see our Iris. In addition to the new varieties, we had 30+ varieties that did not bloom last year in their first season that will bloom this year. There are way too many classes of Iris to discuss here but most of ours are either SDB or TB Iris. The short SDB (semi-Dwarf bearded) reliably begin to bloom on May 10th of each year. Our TB (tall bearded) bloom from Memorial Day to the first 10 days or so of June. In the past we have dug TBs on demand during bloom season. However, I learned this winter that I should hold off on digging the TBs until late July so that is what we will do this year. The SDB's will be dug during bloom as they increase like crazy.

We hope to add a list of Iris that we grow and also a list of those available for sale in the near future.
